I want this in my life…
Alicante, Spain.. In A DAY:
My best friend Tania has family in Alicante, and i’ve always wanted to visit, but we both are very busy at the moment so a day trip was squeezed in (and it was all a surprise for me!…as in, I found out at 3am on the day)
Arrival: 10:30 AM (ish)
Destination 1: 11:00 AM, THE BEACH, sipping a mojito by 12pm, swim in the sea, sunbathed
Destination 2: TOURISM, enjoyed the amazing architecture-very Casablanca, Visited the castle and stopped by a very special friend…and a special tree :), drank some refreshing beer at a local street corner coffee bar/BAR, ate some anchovies & olive oil crisps, NOM!
Destination 3: A friend Tania (who i went with) aunts flat for pasta and a NAP (had to catch up on lack of 8 hr sleep somewhere…) shower & changed!
Destination 4: Ice cream parlour - Heladería, to catch the last of some sun and TO DRINK A DELICIOUS Limon Granizado (lemon, ice, sugar AND VODKA)
Destination 5: DINNER ! TAPAS (personal faves: Ensaladialla Rusa & Patatas Bravas) at a local restaurant praised by the locals (busy every night)
Destination 6: AIRPORT … :-( !
Naturally we arrived with 5 mins to get to the boarding gate, and ran the wrong way….Thankfully there was a delay. By this point the sun burn had kicked in and it was sweltering…. On to the plane and to sleep we were, as soon as we reached the sky..Thankfully (oddly) we’d picked up some free pillows that came in very handy.

Messing about in my lovely Whistles dress (I got it last year) I was a little worried about the length & belt originally, especially around the waist as it felt as though it was designed a bit awkwardly & tight on the chest. But, I’ve been proven wrong. I’m having to really make sure I don’t wear it too often! It’s sleeveless so it’s cool with a top underneath on a winters day and perfect for spring without. xox
Cosy eve writing scripts and listening to James Blake- Retrograde back,to,back.

Ps, love Joy Formidable’s new album! Amazeys
Last night I went along to The Factory (Factory 7.) in Shoreditch to watch Opera Di Peroni and Kwes (who’s recent single Rollerblades was released in Jan) , I have known Kwes (via my close friend Elan) for a few years and have been a Big fan of his music - it was nice to hear a different style of music that he has worked on.
You were taken on a journey from start to finish, quite literally, moving with the story through the room to different spaces to learn more about the “Love Story”. There is something about Opera that makes me feel quite “emosh”, not teary but it’s a nice feeling. Classical/& Opera are two genres I always vow to take more time for, and so it was nice to go to a performance that was set in an environment I would normally frequent and listen to some beautiful music. Overall I had a fantastic evening. The singers, the set, the environment all combined to create a brilliant experience.
My night was, of course, accompanied by a lovely cold bottle of Peroni.
